Brazilian Jiu Jitsu bringt mich in allen Bereichen meines Lebens positiv voran.

Habe keinen Plan, habe alle Antworten, hab Spaß!“

Spitzname: My girlfriend calls me baby bear but only she can call me that.

Beruf: Student der Politikwissenschaft

Worauf bin ich besonders stolz:

Overcoming many serious injuries and coming back to train and still finding love for the sport after many years of forced breaks due to surgeries. A big part of it is for sure the fun environment this group creates.

I tried many sports before but none would have the grip on me that combat sports had, particulary grappling sports. While sidelined from combat sports i tried many other sports but i couldnt find anything that i enjoyed as i did bjj/grappling and thats what bought me back everytime time.

I have never had a lot of talent for sport and up until I was 14 I have been greatly obese and once even weighed 105+ kg on 150cm height. I love fighting and I especially love wrestling and BJJ. I have practiced hard and learned a lot and now I have a very good feeling for those two disciplines. I work hard, smart and a lot and I will never quit until I have reached my goal of becoming one FC champion and defending my belt until I retire! I hope that I can convince you to witness my journey and support me on the way.

Marcos Ríos

“Marcos Ríos – 3rd degree black belt under Nova União.
I started on the BJJ path in 1999 under Gracie Humaita Argentina, later on Carlson Gracie until 2008, when I founded Revolution BJJ Academy with Roberto Pastuch and Esteban Bonaveri, in the same year I got promoted to black belt after evaluation by Eduardo Duarte (Nova União) and Moisés Muradi (Lotus, CBJJE president). On 2012 our Revolution BJJ Academy joined forces with Nova União. I was head-coach in partnership with Eduardo Duarte and Esteban Bonaveri until September 2020, when I move to Vienna and join the Austrian Jiu Jitsu Institute.
I started to teach back in 2002, as an instructor at Mario Sukata Academy (Carlson Gracie) in Argentina, I was a blue belt at the time but always passionate about teaching and technique development, always looking for efficiency at both under any circumstances, such as the different BJJ rule sets and MMA.”
